Continue earning bigger prizes with every 5 hours that you read to your baby. Bonus prizes are awarded to the top readers every nine weeks.

What to Do

1. Sign up to join the Laptime Reading Club.
   
   
2. Get a Laptime Reading Log.
   Each time you and your child read together fill in the Laptime Reading Log with the date, the amount of time you spent reading, and your thoughts or reactions to the book. If you read a book more than once, record it as many times as you read it.
   
   
3. Take a copy of the Laptime Reading Log to bring to your child's nursery.
   Ask the daycare aides to record when they read to your child, too. This will count towards your total time.
   
   
4. Get Prizes!
   When you have recorded 2 hours of laptime reading bring your log into the library. You will receive your first prize. Each time you complete another 5 hours of laptime, you get bigger and bigger prizes. More hours equal more prizes. Prizes may include books, coupons for diapers, store coupons, and other items for you and your baby.
   A Grand Prize will be awarded for the top laptime reader every nine weeks!
